Based in Rhode Island, Zim Sailing is anxious to get their new line of Optimists and Club 420’s out on the race course this summer. President Steve Perry and his American team have been hard at work developing the Zim Sailing brand in North America and creating a dealer network across the country. The Zim Pro C420 mold was recently approved by the Club 420 Association and has been creating quite a stir by breathing new energy into the Club 420 market which was previously occupied by only two active builders.

Zim Sailing is pleased to announce that Americans Pearson Potts and Beverly Elmer have joined the Zim Racing Team for the summer of 2009. Pearson and Beverly were top Optimist sailors in the United States over the past couple years. They are taking on an intensive regatta schedule and will be culminating their training with the Club 420 North American Championship in Michigan. Zim Sailing looks forward to the busy schedule this summer and strives to make Zim Sailing the premier dinghy builder in North America.
